Heading Home is one of the Commonwealth's leading providers of emergency shelter, transitional, and permanent housing for children and adults currently or formerly experiencing homelessness. Our housing-plus-services approach sets clients on a pathway to self-sufficiency.
Heading Home is one of the few Boston-area shelter providers that supports both single adult individuals and families with children.
Emergency Shelter
Heading Home provides emergency assistance shelter to 360+ families each night including more than 500 children, the majority of whom are cared for by a single mom.
