Narrative

Eliot’s Employment Program offers opportunities for paid employment and skill development for individuals with Developmental Disabilities.  Positions include clerical, mail room, janitorial, or maintenance positions at Eliot.  Eliot is consistently seeking community partners to provide hands-on experience and career exploration to those served by the Employment Program.  Staff members work closely with individuals to assist them in developing skills that will help them secure jobs.

Employment Specialists work with individuals to identify job leads that match their preferences and needs. They assist with completing job applications and offer support during the interview process. Job placement, depending on one’s needs, may occur in a competitive setting, in an enclave, or in-house.
