Narrative

Cambridge Family and Children's Service (CFCS) offers intensive support services to individuals with a disability  and to their families to help the individuals remain in their homes and communities.

 CFCS is the Family Support Center for the Charles River West Department of Developmental Services Area Office serving Cambridge, Somerville, Watertown, Waltham and Belmont.  Family support  for children and adults with developmental disabilities are available along with additional services including social activities, training for parents and information and referral services.

CFCS also provides provides case management and direct in-home supports for families referred through the Department of Developmental Services.  

Through its Specialized Home Care Program, CFCS provides case management and support services for developmentally disabled adults who are unable to live in their own homes.
