Narrative

Eliot provides In-Home Supports and Adult Companion Services for men and women with a developmental disability or brain injury who are living independantly in the Northeast Area.  Supports provided are based on individual preferences, emphasizing self-determination and individual control. A full range of community activities is offered to foster the development of a strong social network of caring relationships.

Our program also provides Family Supports to  families with supports to care for their loved ones at home. We also work with Host families that open their homes to individuals in a shared living environment.  Staff provide  support and opportunities for individuals to connect to their communities and develop personal skills and competencies. Our programs subscribe to the belief that every person must have the opportunity to live and work in the community of their choice, to promote their maximum level of independence. Program staff work in partnership with community organizations to build positive and comprehensive support networks and create opportunities for individuals to grow to their fullest potential.
