Narrative

AccesSportAmerica, a national non-profit organization, inspires higher function and fitness for children and adults living with disabilities through High Challenge sports and training. We run year round programs mostly in Massachusetts. In the summer months we adapt and teach sports such as windsurfing, Hawaiian outrigger canoeing, surfing, kayaking, rowing, cycling, tennis, and climbing. In the rest of the year we run personal training and soccer programs in hopes of building better conditioning and discovering higher function.

AccesSportAmerica's programs are designed to promote each person's highest physical and athletic potential while cultivating social and emotional well-being. We seek to create a community where differences are diminished, blurred and often erased. We emphasize the need to "train for life" and design programs to build a community of relationships that last a lifetime.
