Bridges Associates, Inc. offers an array of professional services, community based programs and training, to help individuals and families take charge of their lives. Take Charge! Coaching, developed at Bridges, is a strength based multi-sensory method adapted to support school success and resiliency. Take Charge! has concrete measurable outcomes suitable for school and community based programs. Works with students and adults with disabilities, those who are at risk of school failure, and youth at risk.

TAKE CHARGE!® Coaching, a multisensory, strength-based method, began in 1991 for children and adults with learning disabilities, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and addiction in recovery. Many participants also had chronic issues with self-esteem secondary to learning struggles. They wanted new solutions and management tools for themselves, and more importantly for their children. TAKE CHARGE!® today is a trademarked curriculum with fourteen lessons, hands-on symbolic tools, creative activities, project-based learning, a personal journal, conversations and personal Stories of Resilience™. Trained coaches help individuals and families, and professional – paraprofessional teams lead community-based groups. The outcomes of TAKE CHARGE!® Coaching are self-awareness, self-regulation, communication skills, empowerment, and satisfying social relationships.
