Narrative

Provides Information, Referral and Advocacy Services to all individuals in the Greater Plymouth County Area.   BAMSI's Helpline sponsors a Housing Assistance Program. The Housing Assistance Program helps prevent eligible families from becoming homeless by assisting them find appropriate resource to prevent an eviction.  Low-income families receive housing search assistance Primarily serves the Plymouth County area Easton, Avon and Stoughton.  Provides advocacy services for people who are facing termination of their utility service.

BAMSI’s Helpline links people in need with services that can help them.  Your call will be answered directly by a concerned staff member.  All calls are confidential; it is not necessary to give your name, although we hope you will so that we can follow up to be sure you find a satisfactory solution.  After discussing possible solutions and alternatives, Helpline staff can refer you to a medical or mental health provider, or to an agency that best fits your needs.
