Narrative

Locations in Sturbridge, MA, Uxbridge MA and Leominster, MA.  Venture Community Services understands the value in offering innovative programs and services that will assist individuals in reaching their full potential.  Part of Venture’s continuum of care includes two day habilitation programs that encourage wellness, independence, and skill development.

The Program provides skill development and recreational opportunities to people with developmental disabilities in a stimulating environment. Following are some of the opportunities available for individuals that will be participating in the day program:

• Saturday Day Program available

• State of the Art Equipment

• Brand new Sensory Room

• Horticulture Programs

• Cooking, Computer, Scrapbooking, Yoga & Woodworking Classes

• Art Emersion

• YMCA Memberships

• Outdoor Adventure Activities

• Operate and Create Items for Day Program Store

• Special Serviced Provided to Individuals with Increased Medical Concerns

• Nurse & Occupational, Physical & Speech Therapists

• Adaptive Equipment to Accommodate Special Needs

• Music Therapy

Individuals will select the activities of their choice based on their own areas of interest.
