Narrative

Provides community-based residential program for profoundly and severely intellectual disabled adults. Department of Developmental Services Funded. Twenty-four hour residential services are provided to individuals through seven locations. One home is located in Waltham, five homes are in Bedford and one home is located in Lexington. Each service provides training in basic skills, transportation, coordination of routine medical and dental care, and community, recreational and educational opportunities. Programming goals and ancillary services are provided based on the specific needs of the individual and in conjunction with recommendations made by the Individual Support Plan team. All residential services are certified through the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS). Residential Services operates on a closed referral system through Department of Developmental Services. Private referrals are not accepted at this time.
