Narrative

DAE program participants are provided with a structured group in which they receive educational materials to help them recognize and understand the consequences to drive under the influence of alcohol. While the major focus of these programs is alchohol, other substances of abuse are also included. The program offers 40 hours of services conducted over a span of 16 weeks and includes an assessment, participation in self-help and victim-impact community meetings.
