Narrative

Community Support Associates provides employment services to adults with disabilities on Cape Cod. Supports include vocational evaluation, job placement, and job coaching services.

• Return To Work - determining the feasibility of returning to previous employment...working with individuals and employers to evaluate the impact of the injury upon the individual's ability to perform the job...help in developing job modifications or strategies to compensate for the injury and maximize job performance
• Vocational Evaluation - assess an individual's interests and abilities...develop appropriate vocational goals...identify needs and compensatory strategies in order to ave a successful outcome
• Job Replacement - resume development...interviewing skills...informational interviewing...assistance with filling out applications...organizing the job search...developing a job search strategy...coordinating transportation...setting up interviews
• Follow-along Services - job coaching services...on-going, as needed support services...establish and maintain good employer/employee communication...problem solve work issues
• Advocacy and community resource identification
