Narrative

The Arc of Bristol County’s Family Support Center offers a variety of resources and supports to individuals with disabilities and their families.  Coordinators work with each person to understand their needs, as well as, provide individualized supports that will be meaningful to them.  We believe in a team approach that brings a family, their community, and possible service providers together to provide needed supports and services.  The Family Support Center offers the following services:

• Information & Referral
• Resources, Services and Benefits Navigation
• Educational Seminars
• Family Networking and Support Groups
• Family Fun Days, Recreational and Social Activities

Additional Individualized Models of Support and Services are provided for individuals who are eligible for and prioritized by DDS.  Services include Individual Home or Day Supports, Adult Companion and family directed services through the DESE and/or Agency with Choice programs.
