Narrative

The Greater New England Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society serves people with multiple sclerosis, their family members and the health care community in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.  We raise money to fund the research effort to find the cause and cure for MS, and provide an array of community programs and direct services.  Community programs include: a large self-help group network; research, educational and wellness programs; telephone peer support; MS Vacation Week; and access to MS Care Centers.  Our direct services include: a lending library; information about MS and referrals to community resources; financial assistance and, Home LINKS, our hands-on care management program.  Through our advocacy activities, we work to effect positive change in public policies to improve the quality of life for people with MS.
