Narrative

Independent Living social services are provided for legally blind individuals who need assistance to become more independent. Services may include: Homemaking services for those under sixty years of age and need assistance because of secondary disability or illness. Low-vision evaluations and low vision devices to maximize residual vision Mobility instruction Rehabilitation teaching of day-to-day tasks Peer support groups available Assistive devices to improve daily living.
