Narrative

A non-profit organization open to parents, professionals, self-advocates, and anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of Down syndrome. Have a basic membership fee. Also charge a fee for statewide annual conference and Educator's Forum.  Have local support groups all across the state.  "Advocates in Motion" (AIM) program for self-advocates (ages 13-22).  Parent information, support and advocacy group.  Program supporting new and expectant parents, MDSC Parents' First Call program, may be accessed by e-mailing or calling.  All new families are given a one-year free membership as well as accurate, up-to-date parent resources and information and a welcome package.
