Narrative

SHIP provides low income elderly/disabled homeowners with needed minor home repairs. The program is funded through a grant from the Department of Neighborhood Development of Boston. This program is for homeowners 62 and older and covers Dorchester and South Boston. Staff visit the site, look for problems, make repairs on the spot or recommend options if more substantial repairs are required.
