As the largest provider of pulmonary care in southeastern Massachusetts, Sinai's pulmonary program features stat-of-the-art ventilators and 55 vent-weaning beds. An interdisciplinary team of skilled professionals delivers care and management of complex medical conditions that may include cardiac, oncology, complications from diabetes and multi-organ failure. Post-surgical capabilities include management of wounds, multi-drug resistant organisms, nutritional support and rehabilitation. Sinai's inpatient rehabilitation programs are CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) certified demonstrating a commitment to quality. Recently Sinai was awarded its 10th consecutive 3-year certification following a rigorous on-site survey process. Rehabilitation programs that meet the high standards of CARF are among the best available. Sinai's Feldberg Ambulatory Care Center for outpatient services houses the Diabetes Center, Wound Care Center, Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, Amputee Clinic, Foot Center, Low Vision Clinic, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
