Narrative

HopeWell manages staffed apartments throughout Greater Boston to serve adults with developmental disabilities. The goal of each program is to teach the life skills that every person needs to live in his or her own home in the community.

We also runs a program for mothers with developmental disabilities. The program provides a home, support and training for the mothers and a safe and enriching environment for their children.

We help all of our clients to develop skills to live as independently as possible, including:

• preparing simple meals;
• having banking accounts and developing money management skills;
• learning how to maintain their own personal hygiene;
• doing their laundry; and
• maintaining ongoing regular health care
